Leaving Damascus and seeing how far my leg will take me.
An injury zero for me and two other hikers in Damascus caused by shin splints.
Typical town zero day doing chores and preparing to leave the next day. Except it’s unlikely I will be able to.
8 miles into town, resting my leg and then too little pizza and too much beer
Perfect weather, pleasant terrain and only a field of cows to get in my way.
Easy hiking, a striking monument and nice people to camp with. Not the most exciting day but very pleasant.
